Stephen Butler – Editor in Chief, Owner, Video Producer
I am a London lad with a huge passion for video games and the industry. I founded DailyJoypad.co.uk in 2007, after spending the previous few years writing game related articles for my own design portfolio blog. Since then I have had a number of freelance roles, which includes writing previews for the Zavvi Gaming Blog. If you would like to contact me about freelance work, or have any questions about DailyJoypad.co.uk, then be sure to get in touch using any of the details below. Although I may be the proverbial beating heart and life force behind DailyJoypad, I couldn’t have got where it is today without having a great team of writers – so enough about me, it’s time to introduce the team.

Jamie Duffin – News, Reviews and Previews Editor
Jamie is another all round gamer who enjoys a varied diet when it comes to gaming. Jamie first came into the world of gaming at the tender age of five, playing Sonic on SEGA Master System. Which incidentally he is still the proud owner of. Jamie is very much the sports, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero guru here at DJP. Jamie joined the team originally as a Staff Writer but with his flair for creative and witty writing, he soon rose to the ranks of News, Reviews and Previews Writer. Jamie is another very valued member of DailyJoypad.co.uk and one of our top reviewers.

Scott Boulter – News, Reviews and Previews Deputy Editor
At the age of just 3 years old, Scott was proving his gaming skills early by taking his parents on in the two-player versus mode found in Sonic 2 for the SEGA Mega Drive…and winning! Due to his very first gaming experiences, Scott grew up as a massive fan of SEGA (Sonic the Hedgehog in particular) from the Mega Drive days all the way up to the Dreamcast era, before moving on to Nintendo after SEGA bowed out of the console-making game. Since then, Scott has developed a taste for most genres and enjoys games from a wide-variety of developers, from Uncharted to Metal Gear Solid and Portal, on pretty much every platform under the sun!

Lu Leung – PC Gaming Specialist
At the tender age of 10, Lu got her first Commodore 64 mashing buttons to Daley Thompson’s Decathlon. Ever since then, this blossomed into an almost insatiable appetite for gaming, especially on the PC platform. From the first Command and Conquer to the sublime Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, gaming has always been a passion of hers. An avid StarCraft 2 player, she attended BlizzCon 2011 and was lucky enough to meet the Taiwanese pro gamer GamaniaSen as pictured here. There is plenty of gaming love to go around and Lu also loves console games such as the Final Fantasy series, and the potentially violent Mario Kart. She is also an avid anime fan, her favourite anime being Ghost In The Shell.

Tom Regan – News, Reviews and Previews Writer
At the age of seven I unknowingly did something that was about to change my life forever:I Inserted a cartridge labeled ‘Pokemon Red’ into a strange, brick shaped machine sitting in my dad’s room. Ever since that day a love for gaming has gripped me and refused to let go, from the magical days of the original Playstation right through to my first awe inducing experience of high definition gaming. The magic and wonder that I first experienced when buying a new game as a child still remains with me today – and I would like to think that it always will. I live in London and spend my time hanging out with friends, gaming (shockingly) and promoting live music events.
