Activision has announced the talent that will be lending their voices to the upcoming new James Bond title, 007 Legends, and you’ve got to hand it to Acti, they’ve done pretty well for themselves. Headlining the cast is the current James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, who will obviously voice JB in the new game. Rory Kinnear, who appeared in the most recent Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, and is set to appear in Skyfall, will voice MI6′s Chief of Staff Bill Tanner. Naomie Harris, who will appear in Skyfall as well, is also providing a voice-over for Legends though Activision aren’t saying what the name of her character is yet.
As you’ll probably know if you’ve been keeping up-to-date with all things 007 Legends, the game will be split into six chapters, each of which are based on a different classic James Bond film. Well for the Moonraker mission, Activision have managed to get both Michael Lonsdale and Richard Kiel on board to reprise their old roles – Hugo Drax and Jaws, respectively – for the game, which is pretty damn awesome to say the least. Bruce Feirstein – who has a little bit of prior experience with the James Bond franchise, having written The World Is Not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies and GoldenEye – is apparently penning 007 Legends’ story, with Kevin Kiner (of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and CSI: Miami) responsible for composing duties.
Not a bad selection of talent, is it? The Eurocom-developed 007 Legends will launch on October 16th for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
