It’s not long now until Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance graces the 3DS, and Square Enix has just released a new trailer looking at the game’s fancy “Flowmotion”. It sees protagonists Sora and Riku take the action to “another level” with an all-new battle system.
So this time around there’s more to it than simply bashing enemies over the head with giant novelty keys, with the ability to swing around lampposts, grind along rails, and “kick off of almost any surface to explore environments and battle enemies with seamless speed and style”. In fact, most of that sounded like some bizarre Tony Hawk spin-off more than anything, but take a peek at the trailer to see that in reality, it’s quite a bit different.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance hits Nintendo 3DS on July 20th.
