Namco Bandai have released a batch of new screens for the upcoming Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, the sequel to, well, a game of the same name, just without the ’2′ at the end. The City Interactive-developed and CryEngine 3-powered FPS is set to take the precise controls and skillful fun of sniping and mix it with stealth and silent elimination play. It promises an “authentic, modern sniper experience” with realistic ballistics that take into account the player’s location, wind speed and direction, breathing rate and distance from the target.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will land in shops on August 24th in the U.K for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
