While God of War: Ascension made an appearance at E3 this year, there wasn’t nearly enough gore to appease the masses of Kratos followers around the globe. And to help solve that little issue, Sony has released not one, but two, brand-new trailers for the game, looking at the single-player adventure and the co-op campaign separately.
First up there’s chunks of the single-player spliced together in one nifty montage. You need no introduction to what unfolds, as it’s just the God of War doing what he does best, that being splicing up all kinds of weird and wonderful beasties, then doing exactly the same again and again until he gets either bored or murdered.
Now it’s on to the multiplayer, which sees several budding Gods team up to wreak havoc on everything around them, including that nasty looking cyclops that we’ve seen rear its ugly head a few times before now.
Not looking too shabby then, and hopefully it won’t be long before we hear more on it. You can pick up God of War: Ascension on PS3 on 12th March next year.
