Its been a long time coming, but Rising Star Games have announced that Blazing Souls Accelate is finally arriving on European shores later this month. As they say though, better (really, really) late than never! First released in Japan way back in 2009 and then in the U.S in 2010, Blazing Souls Accelate is a strategy RPG “with incredible anime visuals and the deep and engaging story will provide players with hours of tactical RPG gameplay.”

Blazing Souls Accelate will provide “strategic battles where players’ skills are put to the test with a diverse range of options to defeat the enemy. You will have the opportunity to launch individual or massive combo attacks resulting in exhilarating battle encounters. Blazing Souls Accelate even allows players to mould their own world with the option to create over 200 different items and skills.” This is what Martin Defries, managing director of Rising Games said about bringing the game over to Europe:

“We’re delighted to bring Idea Factory’s exceptional creation to PSP and Sony Entertainment Network, making it accessible to anyone on the move. Also, we’re really impressed with the accessibility of the PlayStation Vita, which marks a further expansion to the number of players we can reach with unique and compelling experiences via Sony Entertainment Network.”

Where Blazing Souls Accelate really stands apart from your everyday strategy RPG’s, Rising Star claims, is in its unique concept of the battle map and adventure map being one and the same, with what you do before and after battle affecting the terrain. In addition, you’ll be able to “search for towns and dungeons at the guild, explore hidden areas, battle enemies you encounter and watch animated events.”

What with the game essentially already being 3 years old before it even releases over here, it is of course a PSP title, however the downloadable version of the game will be fully compatible with the Vita when it hits the PlayStation Store. Blazing Souls Accelate will release across Europe before the end of the month, on April 27th.
