Capcom have delivered two pieces of new Ace Attorney news with a brand new game in the works and the original three Phoenix Wright titles being tidied up and ported in HD to iOS devices.
In regards to “Ace Attorney 5″, all we have so far is the Japanese logo but if you’re a big Ace Attorney fan, that should be enough alone.
In terms of the iOS releases, Capcom are bringing the original Phoenix Wright trilogy (sorry Apollo Justice fans!) to iOS and Android with tidied up visuals to make use of the Retina display. The first Phoenix Wright hit iOS a few years ago now and it looking less and less likely that we’d ever see its sequels follow suit but looks like we were wrong. If Google Translate makes any sense, the three games will be released individually or can be purchased as a three pack under the title “Ace Attorney 1 2 3 HD”. It probably won’t retain that title if it hits English language stores but we won’t be buying it for the title. Not a fan of Ace Attorney? A free version of the first title will also be released that lets you play the first two cases. Check out some screens below and see how the visuals have been improved.
