Microsoft want to make 2010 one of the most significant years in gaming for all Xbox 360 owners. As well as a number of exclusive titles and Xbox Live Arcade games, they also aim to deliver more exclusive game add-ons for all the biggest titles. With a strong lineup including games like Halo: Reach, Fable III, and Splinter Cell: Conviction, it is certainly looking like a year of blockbuster titles for Xbox 360 gamers.
“2010 is shaping up to be the biggest year ever for Xbox 360,” said Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios. “Across the portfolio, we have an unparalleled lineup of blockbuster games and exclusive experiences, the likes of which have never been seen before.”
Xbox 360 exclusive titles, experiences, and top franchises already announced for 2010 include:
- Alan Wake
- BioShock 2
- Crackdown 2
- Fable III
- Final Fantasy XIII
- Game Room on Xbox LIVE
- Halo: Reach
- Lips: Party Classics
- Lost Planet 2
- Mass Effect 2
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction
- Toy Soldiers
- Scrap Metal
Combine all those with many more multiplatform titles, and not forgetting more games still yet to be confirmed, 2010 is a good year to be a gamer. Although it’s not going to be a good year for the wallet or bank account that’s for sure!
